30 Jun Workshop in Jasper

Leah and I just got back from a great couple weeks away. At the Jasper workshop we were spoiled with sunny warm weather, which doesn’t always happen in the mountains. We were warned about aggressive grizzlies but didn’t run into any while painting.

Everyone was great about trying new things including doing a split day where we painted in the morning, took an afternoon break (or nap in my case), and came back for an evening paint to capture the light. The spouses who tagged along were awesome – bringing us snacks, and teaming up for golf outings. They even claimed to have solved all the world’s issues while we painted the sunset.
