The Commission Process

Initial Consultation
Discuss subject matter, preferred dimensions, palette, and overall direction for the piece with Jerry.
Concept & Planning
Jerry selects source material from his own library to develop strong compositions and paints a small version of the final concept for review.
Painting Begins
Once details are approved, Jerry creates an original oil painting in his signature style.
Review Prior to Shipment
Final images are provided upon completion, including close up photos showing paint marks and texture, for review and approval prior to shipment.
Framed & Delivered
Your commissioned original is professionally framed and shipped, ready to enjoy for years to come.

A Note About Commission Requests

Jerry accepts commissions that align with the wildlife, western, landscape, and other subject matter for which his work is known.

As each commission is created as a fully realized original painting within his professional body of work, requests for people or pet portraits are not accepted.

Limited Availability

To reserve a place in the painting schedule, a deposit is required once the project details are approved. The balance is due upon completion prior to shipping.
